# Telegram

Communication

Two integration shapes from one Telegram bot. Outbound: the Telegram MCP template lets your agent send messages, photos, polls, and documents. Inbound: an Agent Trigger with source = telegram lets users DM or @mention the bot in a group; the agent replies in the same chat. See \[Agent Triggers\](/docs/agent-triggers#telegram) for the inbound setup.

## How to Connect

1. 1Go to the MCP Templates marketplace.
2. 2Find the Telegram template.
3. 3Enter your Telegram Bot token.
4. 4Add the template to your agent.
