PromptRails Teams
Work with AI employees on boards, in messages, and in the Office. Learn how Teams and Console share a workspace.
Best for
People assigning work to AI employees and reviewing their results
PromptRails Teams is the place to give AI employees work, follow progress, and review the result. Describe an outcome, organize tasks on a board, or message a specialist directly. The employee can use its tools and knowledge, create deliverables, and ask for a decision when work needs your approval.
Teams and Console use the same PromptRails account and workspace. Teams presents the work as employees, cards, conversations, and outputs; Console exposes the agents, prompts, tools, versions, and traces behind that work. Use the product switcher to move between them and check the workspace name after switching.
Find your way around

The New menu brings together creating a board, describing a workflow in words, hiring an AI employee, and finding work worth automating. Needs you opens the review queue from wherever you are. The team pulse shows which employees are working.
The daily loop
A useful task includes the desired output, the relevant context or files, and the conditions for calling it done. Start with one task and review the employee’s output before turning the process into recurring work.
- A board holds the process: stages, team, and shared instructions.
- A card holds one task: brief, assignee, discussion, files, and results.
- An AI employee is an agent with a role, capabilities, and knowledge.
- An artifact is a deliverable with its own versions, such as a report or document.
- An approval holds a specific action or stage until a person decides.

Workspace access
People use workspace roles; AI employees use the tools and knowledge granted to them. Members can work with boards and cards, chat, hire marketplace employees, and review work subject to the applicable approval policy. Admins configure employees, integrations, autonomy, reporting lines, and board approval or budget controls. See Workspace members and roles.
A missing administrative control can mean your workspace role does not permit that action. Ask a workspace admin to configure the connection or employee, then continue the task in Teams.
